3-SET European Funding Advice
3-SET – the third sector European team – supports third sector organisations seeking to benefit from European funding with information, advice, resources and training. The 3-SET team is led by Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) and part of a wider Spatial European Team (SET) network that is providing a joined-up service to maximise the benefit of European Structural Funds across all sectors in Wales. It can offer advice and support in tendering and procurement, risk management and quality assurance and approaches to sustainable funding.

Grants and loans
WCVA manages a range of grant schemes as well as a loan package that supports voluntary organisations, communities and volunteers throughout Wales. With funding from charitable trusts, the Millennium Commission, the National Assembly for Wales, and the European Structural Funds. Our schemes are safeguarding and increasing the overall funding available for the voluntary sector in Wales. Membership
Each month, over 1,000 voluntary organisations take advantage of the information, news, funding updates and cost savings they receive as part of the benefits of full membership with WCVA.

Full membership starts at just £25 per year and includes a twice-monthly voluntary sector magazine ‘Network’, fortnightly members' e-briefing, and personalised grantfinder searches. Members are also entitled to discounts on computer software and hardware, telecommunications, translation services, insurance, corporate products and publicity materials.

Policy and research
WCVA Policy and Research aims to influence policy in a wide range of subject areas by identifying and representing the views of the sector. WCVA’s training programme provides a wide range of development courses, seminars and conferences tailored to the needs of voluntary and community organisations.
