Tendering master classes *NEW*
Boost your chances of winning new service related contracts by booking onto WCVA’s tendering master classes.
WCVA, in partnership with DHRinterim, are piloting a series of tendering master classes across Wales. These intensive ½ day skill-builder workshops will focus on improving the practical skills and knowledge of voluntary and community organisations in Wales working in the areas of health and social care, economic inactivity or worklessness.
The workshops are aimed at those individuals and organisations for whom tendering is not new; those who have undertaken a level of tendering activity and have identified a need to increase their skills and capabilities.

The workshop on ‘Structuring & Writing Competitive Tenders’ will explore tools and techniques to maximise your success in tendering. Topics include:
- Structuring tender responses to ensure maximum impact and readability
- Successfully work with evaluation criteria
- Evidencing your statements more effectively
- Working with word limits
The workshop on ‘Competitive Tender Presentations’ will explore how to present an effective bid and gain an insider view into really ‘selling’ your tender by bringing it to life. Topics include:
- Who to include in your presentation team and why
- To Powerpoint or not to Powerpoint?
- Creating impact which sells your organisation (and your team)
- Bringing the bid to life
As WCVA’s Sustainable Funding Cymru project is being supported by the Big Lottery Fund, we are able to offer these workshops at a subsidised rate of £25 per person for voluntary and community organisations operating in Wales. Places are limited to two places per organisation.
