Giving and public fundraising (1 day)
Fundraising is the process of soliciting and gathering money by requesting donations for a particular cause. Funds can be raised from a wide range of sources, not only from traditional grant funders.
This course will assist organisations to better understand the various options available for fundraising from individuals, businesses and from the general public. Intended for those responsible for fundraising within the voluntary sector, the course is suitable for both inexperienced and experienced fundraisers wishing to increase their understanding of giving and public fundraising, and how a 'fundraising mix' can assist organisations to become financially sustainable.
By the end of the course, participants will:
- Learn how to take advantage of tax-effective donations and gifts;
- Be introduced to fundraising law and practice;
- Explore the various options for public fundraising.
Details on how to book your place on any of these training days can be found at how to book.
