Funding search
One of the biggest hurdles for the third sector is finding funding. This page makes it easier for voluntary and community groups to find out about funders that may want to support their project or idea.
WCVA has subscribed to GRANTnet, a free basic online funding search that can help identify suitable funding opportunities for your activity or project. GRANTnet is based on the comprehensive GRANTfinder database which provides details of over 4,000 funding opportunities from Europe, government, lottery, charitable trusts and corporate sponsors.
How to access GRANTnet
New users can register by clicking on the link below. Simply enter your email address, name, organisation, postal address and telephone number. Once you click the ‘sign up’ button, an email with your user name and password will be sent to you within minutes. This can then be used to access GRANTnet where you can conduct as many funding searches as you like.
Your search results are then made available to WCVA’s Helpdesk who will provide more detailed information on the various funding schemes. WCVA’s Helpdesk will also signpost you to further advice and guidance on funding from your local county voluntary council, WCVA’s Sustainable Funding Cymru, or European teams.
