Development of Structural Funds programmes post-2013

Between 2007 and 2013, our economy and people across Wales will benefit from around £3.8 billion of investment (EU funds of £1.9 billion) through the European Structural Funds programmes.

The current round of European programmes is scheduled to close to applicants on 31 December 2013, although expenditure will continue into 2015. Planning has already begun with the European Union institutions and Member State governments to develop the Structural Funds programmes post-2013.

The Welsh European Funding Office (WEFO) is putting in place arrangements to work with key partners, including the third sector, to prepare for the new programmes through a Post-2013 Partnership Forum and expert work streams. WCVA’s Third Sector European Team (3-SET) will be leading the sector’s input into the debate and will seek to engage organisations through the Third Sector European Forum (3-SEF) and regional consultation events.

For further information, please see the WEFO website for Development of post-2013 Programmes. Or if you have any questions, contact: 3SET@wcva.org.uk.
