Funding for Play - Cardiff
12 Mar 2010Do you run a club/group for children and young people aged between 5 and 15 years in Cardiff?
Can they come and go as they please? (Open Access)
Exceptions will be made for projects working with children and young people with complex needs.
- Groups should focus on Play as a process that is freely chosen, personally directed and intrinsically motivated. That is, children and young people determine and control the content and intent of their play, by following their own instincts, ideas and interests, in their own way for their own reasons.
- Play 2010 monies are not to be used to substitute existing or planned funding in order to make budgetary savings.
- Existing and new groups can apply, although groups which have obtained a grant for 3 or more years must consider alternative sources of more sustainable funding
