• The National Outcomes Programme (NOP), by Charities Evaluation Services (CES), and funded by the Big Lottery Fund. The aim of NOP was to explain and spread outcome thinking and practice among VCOs across England. CES has demonstrated through many years of evaluation and quality experience within the sector that VCOs can improve their effectiveness by focusing more on their organisational outcomes. • Big Lottery Fund – "Explaining the difference your project makes" guide - This guide sets out some of the main steps that you will have to take to plan and manage a project using an outcomes approach. The guide is useful for a wide range of applicants, but it is primarily aimed at those who are new to the outcomes approach and want to find out more.
